High quality products and software are a hallmark of Dynamit. As such, Quality Assurance Specialists at Dynamit work closely with all members of the project team to help define what successful, quality solutions mean to Dynamit. This is done by helping to clarify business requirements, creating thoughtful and thorough test plans, calling out project risks, removing roadblocks, triaging and prioritizing defects, presenting and training clients, and ultimately adding to the sense of confidence in the end deliverable of the project.As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be driving the discipline forward by actively performing manual testing activities at an expert level, maintaining high project ownership, and developing more junior Quality Assurance Specialists through coaching and open feedback. You will also be helping to define what the future of the discipline looks like and how we will get there.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve high client satisfaction by delivering quality work that meets all client expectations
  • Deliver a commensurate volume of work on-time and with high quality
  • Contribute to the evolution of the QA discipline to meet new and evolving client needs.
  • Effectively delegate, inspect and provide feedback to other associates to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide project leadership and coaching to other associates in the QA discipline.
  • Design test plans that reflect all business requirements of the application and provide coverage of both positive and negative paths.
  • Execute test scripts, escalate roadblocks, and prioritize defects in order to minimize defects shipped to client or production environments.
  • Discover all critical and high defects prior to production with the goal of zero rollbacks.
  • Successfully lead the UAT processes with both client and project teams.
  • Clearly communicate testing status, roadblocks, dependencies and escalates risks to the SDM/Lead/PO.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5 years in software/digital QA or related role
  • Experience executing test plans for small and large scale applications
  • Experience testing responsive and non-responsive sites, commerce solutions, custom software, web applications and mobile applications
  • Ability to think critically to solve complex problems
  • Familiarity with web application development process
  • JIRA experience highly desirable
  • Experience using Excel or equivalent
  • Passion for digital and technology
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience working in a team setting
